A visit to the National Opera House to watch "The Emperor's Νightingale"
“What gives life to electronic instruments like your small synthesizer is art that comes from your soul. And it is art that saves people”. That was the message we received from the wonderful adaptation of Andersen's fairytale "The Emperor's nightingale" by the Greek National Opera House Company.
Our thoughts on art are that it is an invaluable educational tool as it promotes self-expression, cultivates students' feelings and makes them happy. Drama, music, visual arts and storytelling also release dopamine in the brain which increases abstract and higher order thinking output.
